Our dedicated and passionate team exist to educate, support and fulfil Safer Spaces. Here’s a little more information about our team and work.

Pilot Year

Boardmasters 2021, is where Safer Spaces Now CIC first piloted the service. With huge success and demand, we realised we needed to roll out the Safer Spaces Now CIC service at every event and festival. Since then that is exactly what we have been doing.

Notting Hill Carnival

Boomtown

After a successful year on the festival circuit, Safer Spaces Now CIC were commissioned by the Metropolitan Police Service and Mayor of London’s Office of Policing and Crime, to provide the service at Notting Hill Carnival. With large outreach teams and physical spaces, we managed to support thousands of people over the weekend.

Boomtown Fair have always been avid supporters of the cause and have a full Safer Spaces Now CIC service at their event each year. Boomtown Fair also commission our specialist training for all crew pre-show, to really embed the ‘zero tolerance’ approach and extend the reach of our service. In addition, our founding director, Anna, operates as their Safeguarding Lead throughout the show.

Working from the top down, Boomtown Fair are passionately committed to making positive change within and at their event.

Event Production Show

Mighty Hoopla

In 2022 Safer Spaces Now CIC were invited to be the official charity partner to The Event Production Show. Whilst there to raise awareness and chat to peers, we were also highly commended for the award category “One to Watch”.

The Brockwell Live events in Brixton, include Project 6, Wide Awake, Cross The Tracks, City Splash and Mighty Hoopla and Safer Spaces Now CIC are there with a full service, supporting anyone attending or working the events.
